It was initially purchased for over 10,000 dollars for my father, whom was diagnosed with ALS. He unfortunatley, passed away recently after battling the disease for over 5 years. This particular power chair was used for maybe 2 weeks. It was purchased for him as he became ventilator dependent. Furthermore, as the disease progressed he was unable to support his head very well and it became very difficult to transfer/lift him from the chair to his bed. This power chair enabled him to leave the house with a portable ventilator with a headrest. It also came equipped with the ability to recline to 180 degrees flat, which allowed him to rest comfortably. Otherwise, the power chair has the standard capabilities and accessories including arm/body and foot rest.
