Description
Hi and welcome to my auction!  This is my new screen name for selling parts and other non-motor vehicle items.  I have been selling on Ebay as DTA76114 for over 7 years and have a 100% feedback rating.  Please feel free to check out my feedback!  Due to Ebay's new rules, I will be listing everything that is not a motor vehicle under this screen name.  You can expect the same level of customer service and commitment to you that I have provided for the past 7 plus years.      You are bidding an E.R.C Inc Emergency Restraint Chair. This chair  is 1 of 3 that I purchased from the Parker County, Texas prison system.  This chair appears to have never been very lightly used. BUT, IMAGINE OWNING A CHAIR THAT WAS ACTUALLY USED IN THE PRISON SYSTEM.  WONDER WHAT STORIES IT COULD TELL????     This is arguably the best restraint chair on the market.   They sell for 1500 new and you can buy this one for much less.  THIS IS NOT A TOY CHAIR.  YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE IT AND IT WILL NOT FALL APART FROM HEAVY USE.  AGAIN THIS CHAIR WAS ACTUALLY USED IN THE PRISON SYSTEM, NOT A PLACE FOR WIMPY TOY CHAIRS.  These chairs are designed to be used for holding violent people against their will!   I see other chairs on ebay for 200 dollars, this is not that quality of craftmanship.  This chair is designed and built to prison system standards and will last.   You can wheel someone around in this chair, with no problems, also.  The restaints release with a normal handcuff key or a small screwdriver will work also.  It's a very simple but VERY effective design.  It will leave no marks on the prisoner, but they will not be able to get loose.  Please feel free to email me with any questions at DTA75235@aol.com or call me @ 817-946-7228 (David) The following is from ERCs website: Safely restrains a combative or self–destructive person. Does not restrict normal breathing, secures individual without injury. Allows for safe prisoner transport by a single officer to court or hospital. Reduces your liability from combative–related incidents. Reduces the need for additional personnel. Reduces your transport costs. Chair back and seat are angled in a slight reclining position to help in calming of subject while controlling his ability to manipulate the chair. Backrest restraints adjust up to 4 settings for a secure fit. Backrest opening for easier handcuff removal. Footrest features non-skid surface. Ultra–tough shoulder and wrist restraint belts are constructed of Nylon 66® 2 x 2 herringbone twill webbing with a 5500–lb tensile strength. Securely holds the individual in position, yet does not restrict the chest area to affect normal breathing. Belts secure with CAM buckles that unlock with a standard handcuff key. Covered with PermaBlok3™ advanced vinyl that is non–porous, anti–stain and abrasion–resistant. Easily cleaned, anti–bacterial and anti–microbial. 1–1/2" high–density foam padding for comfort. Heavy–duty 14–gauge, 1–1/4"–thick tubular steel frame. 10–gauge steel footrest with non–skid surface. Arms are high–impact plastic.
