Carved Canadian Porphyry Crystal Skull   The Symbol of The Higher Mind, The Stone of Abundance & Sacred Truths!   The very beautiful skull that I am offering in this listing absolutely falls into the "Ultra-Rare" category of Crystal Skulls.  It was hand carved from Porphyry Stone!   This dramatic stone comes from northern Ontario, Canada.  It is a type of igneous conglomerate which involves large-grained white feldspar crystals within a darker mixture of Quartz, Mica, Amphibole,  and Pyroxene.  It is of volcanic origin, as it forms inside magma chambers.  Porphyry is a relative of Flowerstone, Chrysanthemum Stone, and Chinese Writing Stone. The skull is a popular size, measuring 4-1/4 inches long and weighing precisely 1.82 lbs.  It exhibits very well defined detailing and features, including Raven's trademark hollowed-out cheekbones and jaw.  The nasal passages have been drilled through from  the nose area to the bottom of the skull.  Even the underside has been hollowed and fully detailed to resemble the real thing!  The high gloss polish is the icing on the cake, making this gorgeous Porphyry being gentle in the hands and easy on the eyes!
