Description
6 HAND-DIPPED BEESWAX TAPERS 10" COTTON FLATBRAID WICKS Six 10" Inch Hand Dipped Beeswax Tapers     Hello, and thanks for looking. You are thinking about buying 3 pairs (6 tapers in all) approximately ten inch tall, pure bees wax candles. These taper candles are hand-dipped by me, the wicks are made of cotton flat braid wicking, I personally prefer this type of wick for tapers/candles (that aren't in a container). You should trim wicks to about a quarter of an inch before burning. Tapers are thinner than a regular candle, about 7/8" in diameter at the base. I usually get a little carried away, and they wind up being more generous (let me know if you need them to be exact), so far I've received no complaints about my candles performance. If left away from a draft these candles are usually drip-less (for the most part). The cotton wick burns cleaner than other wicking material, so does beeswax. Some people on eBay pass off molded candles as hand-dipped, I can assure you, I'm not one of those people.     I've had a few people from historic houses and museums, buying my candles; they are also great for altar candles or any religious use as they are made from pure beeswax). I buy the beeswax from American Apiaries in the Pacific Northwest from a Seller right here on eBay. I always use the best ingredients available to me.     If you have questions, ask before you bid. Please pay me within 3 days of the auctions end, if I contact you and don't hear back from you in a week, you'll be reported as a Non-Paying Bidder / Buyer; this way I can get my insertion fees back. You can arrange for a Local Pick-Up in the Bronx (I'm in Manhattan once or twice a month too). I will be offering special items for Pick-Up at a cool consignment shop in Woodstock called Majik Horse (of New Hope fame) *not all items will have that option, so check the description. Thanks for looking, and have a Way Cool Yule!     I do combine orders, providing you agree to pay for all postage; in order for me to combine orders, DO NOT PAY UNTIL I SEND YOU AN INVOICE PLEASE. A large Flat Rate Priority Box costs about $12.80 to ship (a smaller one for $9.50 also Flat Rate), and can fit quite a bit. So feel free to buy some tie dyes, candles and my other special auction items coming up soon (Grateful Dead Stuff from my Collection, Sssshhh!!!).
